Eames

Oh, wow, shes back. Yes, I know, I go away and then I magically appear again. Well never mind that. So I have been massively distracted from blogging by Uni and also my new ambitions for setting up my house. I have to same pintrest is fantastic but it gives a crazy person like me too many ideas.

I go the idea of fixing up old furniture so  found an old desk wooden on Gumtree, which I have now sanded back and painted and I will be putting before and after pictures on here once I get my draw pulls in the post. I have also become a massive fan of everything Eames. I just love the design of the furniture that have been around since the early 40's.

House Warming

Recently Daniel and I moved into a new place. It's an old place but has been bran newly renovated. I love it here and we are so close to the beach. I love the colours in April's (Everyday Forgoten) photo diary blog and I was inspired to try it out myself.

On the mantelpiece is my Mum's flower arrangement she gave Daniel and I for a house warming present. I think they are white Vanda Orchids. Mum owns the The Bloomroom, which design artificial flower arrangements which look real.

In the other picture is my wire chicken, this was also a present, which I had to include because it's so cute. Last but not least, the book ‘All my friends are dead’ at the bottom, is so funny, it's a picture book which I found at General Pants. Their website allows you to view a few pages, it’s a good laugh.  I just found out they have a new book out, ‘All my friends are still dead’, I will have to get it.
