Sinkinson Cottage

Hello Everyone,

My days off have been amazing. Daniel surprised me by driving into the hills and taking me on a mini vacation. When we were driving he would not tell me where we were going. We drove through the Adelaide hills, past vineyards, through little towns and finally up a dirt road where on a hill was Sinkinson Cottage. An 18th century restored and renovated ruin. A quaint cottage located on a farm with a horse (I can't remember his name, so I will call him Buddy), five ponies and a few lamas.

We lazed around the cottage, ate raspberry chocolate and drank sparkling wine, (can't say champagne as the French have claimed the name as their own). We visited a few wineries and ate wonderful food. Daniel and I had dinner at The Haus Hahndorf, I had Quattro of Wursts. The kranskie was amazing but I could not finish, as the bratwurst was massive.

I thought I would take the opportunity to get a few outfit pictures with Buddy while we were there. The dress I am wearing is Kenji from Myer and my belt is from Portmans. I love this dress but it needs to be sprayed with anti-static spray as it can cling. The necklace and ring are from Lovias and my shoes are Lipstick from Windsor Smith.
I tried to use fake eyelashes from BYS cosmetics, they cost around $6 and they looked alright but the glue provided did not stick well and they ended up falling off. I suggest you use Duo Adhesive which can be purchased from M.A.C.

I hope everyone else had a great weekend.

On The Horizon

The last few days have been so nice, no rain just sun and blue sky, finaly. You can feel that spring is just on the horizon which has got me all excited about summer and, my favourite,  FESTIVAL SEASON. YAY!
Last week I bought my Stereosonic ticket and I can't wait to see Armin van Buuren.

These photos by Nick Onken remind me of my favourite season.

Pandora

Hello there,
Today is my last day of holidays. During my time off I did some relaxing, shopping went out to dinner with Daniel and saw a movie. I caught up with some friends and on Saturday Daniel and I headed to Flinders Uni  for the open day, it was a bit of an info overload but very exciting.

Yesterday was such a nice day so Daniel and I travelled up into the Hills for a day trip. At the Mt Lofty summit we walked around the walking trails and had a look at the view of the city and the surrounding suburbs. Then we headed to Handoff for lunch and had yummy German sausages.

A few years ago my sister got me hooked on Pandora jewellery.  Daniel gave me the bracelet for valentines this year and I am absolutely in love with it. Along with the bracelet I have a couple of rings; which I wish I had remembered to wear them for the photo. Oh well there is always next time.

I hope everyone else had a great week.

Barossa Valley

Hey all,
On Saturday I spent the day touring the Barossa Valley, which is Australia's most famous Wine Region, for a friends 30th of birthday. It was a great day. The Barossa is absolutely beautiful region filled with hundreds of vineyards, magnificent wineries and yummy, yummy food.
We visited four wineries; Whistlers, Peter Lehmann, Grant Burge and Kies. Out of the four I would say that Whistlers winery impressed me the most. If you ever go I suggest you try the fortified wine Whistlers Mother. It is amazing!

Paper Heart

Hey All,
These pictures were taken with my very old Sony Cyber Shot which I have had for over five years. These photos turned out well but for some odd reason the camera rummbles sometimes and the photos turn out blury. This always happenes at the most incoventitnt times, like at concerts. So I am happy my camera decided to be play nice on this weekend. The Sony has served me well but it's defenitly time to update.

These pictures were taken last weekend when Daniel and I went up to Moonta Bay. It was such a windy weekend but it was very relaxing just hanging around watching bad day time TV.

Jumper is from Paper Heart.
